At Sensory SpOT, children explore ways to foster the growth of their emotional well-being, build a strong mind-body connection, and strengthen their foundational skills necessary for learning. We will create a positive learning environment that builds on your child’s strengths, allowing them to flourish and grow their skills. Dr. Ross Greene said it perfectly, “children do well if they can!”
In order for a child to do his/her best and learn higher level complex skills, such as fine motor, self-regulation, social functioning and executive functioning skills, a child must have a strong foundation.
What are foundational skills?
