Our Team

Felicia- Occupational Therapist

Meet Ms. Felicia!

Felicia is the Founder and Lead Occupational Therapist of Sensory SpOT and Licensed Occupational Therapist.  Felicia graduated from Springfield College in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and in 2007 with her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy.

Felicia's heart has always been to work with the pediatric population. She has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including outpatient pediatrics, school-based,  and private sensory-based clinics. She has worked with children with congenital, developmental, mental health, and emotional regulation difficulties.  In 2014, Felicia decided to pursue working in higher education with Goodwin College working with OTA students in an emerging practice fieldwork setting, In 2015, she accepted a full-time position at a local university working with OT students in emerging and community-based practice. Felicia successfully developed and managed a community-based free care pediatric program servicing over 300 children while also supervising 6-8 Occupational Therapy students at a time.

Felicia has found that many children have large gaps in their development that are often overlooked. She has made it her mission to work with children and their families to bridge those gaps through strengthening a child's foundational skills, as well as providing preventive strategies.   Felicia frequently utilizes the wellness model of practice to provide holistic and preventive interventional care. Felicia has completed additional training/certifications in the Astronaut Training Program, Deep Pressure Protocol, Therapeutic Listening Program, Brain Gym, and Reflex Integration.
